“ Have been visiting this restaurant for years, and their food still delicious! It is great to maintain the flavourful dishes. Parking space is very limited, car pooling if possible. Better make reservations before you come, they are always full. Speed of service lengthened, they used to serve within half an hour. During my last visit, we waited around 40minutes and I noticed our soup was ready to be served at the counter, but none of the staff serve it not sure they are lack of staffs or what.. So minus one star for that. Overall is good. ”
“ Nice pleasant Chinese restaurant. Asam fish very delicious. Steamed and roast chicken also excellent. Deep fried pork a little salty but delightful. Tofu and prawn done just nice. Crowded at lunch. Book ahead if you can. ”
“ One of the best Chinese / Cantonese cuisine restaurant in town. They still maintain the quality of their serving. Recommend to make advance booking for table and special dishes. Fish sold out very fast. ”
“ The Rainbow Garden is a mere pass through neighbourhood, but little did I know, it also held a hidden gem of a restaurant. Tucked away in an unexpected corner, the simple Chinese-style cuisine was a delight to my senses. The flavors were well balanced, and each dish had delicate taste and a gentle sauce that left me craving for more. However, my joy was short-lived as I discovered the "mixed vegetable" dish contained pork - a dish I could not consume. To add salt to my wound, they did not accept bookings for tables with less than four people. Despite being just the three of us, we had no choice but to wait by the walkway for a table to free up. It didn't help that the large tables inside were glaringly empty. It almost seemed as though they held a prejudice to provide better service to larger groups. I felt personally offended, but I couldn't help admiring the way the dimly lit restaurant worked like a well-oiled machine. There was an unspoken mystery about the staff - their quick turnarounds and well-practiced dance between the tables enhanced my overall experience. Nonetheless, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being unfairly treated. Was I wrong to expect fairness from a place of service, or was there more to the story than meets the eye? Kiat Lee Restaurant in the Rainbow Garden may have been a secret destination, but it held secrets within that still left me curious. ”
“ Almost every dish here is perfectly cooked! Does get crowded at peak hours so better to come early. The pork belly and brinjal is a must try!! Been here more than once, and will definitely come again. They do have an AC room upstairs but it’s almost 100 plus ringgit extra to pay for. ”
